🛎️ Booking & Check-In
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is between 3pm and 7pm unless prior arrangements have been made. Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure.
Whenever possible, we are also happy to assist with earlier key collection, luggage storage and late arrival arrangements to help guests enjoy a more relaxed stay in Penzance.
Can I arrive late?
Yes, late arrivals can often be arranged using our secure key safe system. Please contact us before arrival if you expect to arrive later in the evening.
Do you offer self check-in?
Yes, we can provide self check-in instructions and key safe access for guests arriving later in the evening or when reception is unattended.
Can I leave luggage before check-in?
Yes, whenever possible we are happy to store luggage before check-in from 10am onwards so guests can explore Penzance and the surrounding area before their room is ready.
If I arrive early in Penzance, can I collect my key before check-in?
Yes, whenever possible we are happy for guests arriving earlier in the day to collect their room key before check-in so they can head off and enjoy Penzance and the surrounding area without being tied to check-in times.
While we cannot always guarantee your room will be ready earlier in the day, you are still more than welcome to collect your key and return later once the room becomes available.
Can I leave luggage after check-out?
Yes, luggage storage may also be available after check-out by prior arrangement, allowing guests to continue exploring Penzance before travelling home.
I am leaving early in the morning — how do I check out?
For guests departing early or when reception is unattended, Lombard House Hotel offers a simple and secure express check-out service.
Instructions explaining where to leave your room key are provided on the guest information sheet displayed within your room. If you require any assistance before departure, we are always happy to help where possible.
Do you require a deposit?
A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the first night of your stay is normally required at the time of booking.
When is the remaining balance collected?
The remaining balance is usually collected automatically approximately 14 days before arrival using the payment card provided at the time of booking.

Yes, we have single en-suite guest rooms overlooking the rear courtyard.
Do you provide Smart TVs?
Yes, all rooms include flat-screen televisions and most rooms also feature Smart TVs.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Do rooms include tea and coffee facilities?
Yes, all rooms include complimentary hospitality trays with tea, coffee and refreshments.
Are towels and toiletries provided?

Parking is suitable for standard-sized vehicles. Unfortunately, very large vans, flatbed vehicles and lorries may not fit within the available parking area.

Additional parking arrangements may sometimes be available for Isles of Scilly travellers by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

No, we do not currently offer on-site EV charging. However, several public EV charging points are available nearby within Penzance.
